Buon Giorno!
I arrived around 9 in the morning and took the bus to the Termini Station.
My hostel is 10-15 mins by foot from Termini/ 2 mins by foot from Vittorio Emanuele (next station after Termini).
Since I arrived earlier than the usual check-in time, the hostel staff stored my luggage in their luggage room and I started exploring the city.
E.V. station is just a few stops away from Vatican, Coloseo, Trevi Fountain, etc. so I decided to purchase a 24 hour unli train pass for tourists to make the most out of my short visit.
First Stop : Vatican- There are lots of souvenir shops even outside the train station. On your way to the Vatican, you’ll see stores selling souvenir items and most of these stores have pinoy staffs. They offer rosaries, pendants, ref magnets, etc.
Next stop : Colosseo- I didn’t enter the Colosseo since I didn’t have enough time. Instead, I went up the train station to take photos and selfies with the Colosseo.
Next Stop : Trevi Fountain- Yes! It’s so crowded and it’s hard to take nice photos. By this time, for sure you’re already hungry. Don’t worry! There are lots of Gelatto shops, home made pasta/ pizza to choose from.
Next Stop : Panthenon- same as Trevi Fountain, it’s so crowded and touristy. Check out the tapas shop outside Panthenon. Gosh! The food is to die for.
Honestly, for a time I got lost. Visited some attractions but couldn’t remember the names/spots.
One thing is for sure. Roma, i’ll be back.
Regarding my hostel, i’ll be posting about it on my next blog.
Ciao!
