Kyoto Itinerary

From Osaka, we rode the train to Kyoto station.

We arrived at Kyoto station around 12 noon. My mom, tita V and Angelica wanted to check the shops at Osu so they rode the train to Nagoya.

Ada and I decided to stay in Kyoto to walk around. We had lunch at the station : Omu rice, ramen and matcha icecream.

After lunch, we tried to look for a baggage counter where we can leave our luggages. Outside the station, we bought our day pass and rode the bus to see the shrines and sights in Kyoto.

Here’s a sample itinerary :

Day 1 : Arashiyama

Note : There’s a bicycle rental shop beside the JR Arashiyama station if you dont want to walk that much.

Tenryuji Temple

Bamboo Forest

Arashiyama Saga (kimono lantern forest)

**there’s a lot of restaurants and shops to choose from if you’re feeling hungry so no need to worry.

Day 2 : Higashiyama

From Jr Arashiyama, ride the train to Kyoto Station. (6 stops)

You may ride the train to Inari Station if you wanna go to fushimi inari or just get a one day pass at the Kyoto Station.

Ginkakuji temple (Silver pavilion)

Philosophers Walk

**there’s a lot of Kimono Rentals along the way. We rented a kimono for 2500 yen per person good for 1 day. Just make sure to return it before 8pm.

** If you have extra time, go and ride the train to nara park. Feed the deers and dont forget to take a selfie.
